What is Elephant Tracks?
Elephant Tracks is an award-winning short film about a man who must overcome guilt and grief with the help of his childhood stuffed elephant come to life who teaches him how to forgive himself and reconnect with his mother.
Elephant Tracks is a 2D animated short film Created as my Senior Capstone Project. The project is directed and produced by me. I also worked as a story artist, character designer, and lead animation on the project.

The Characters
Wesley
Wesley is the main character of Elephant Tracks. We follow him on his journey through overcoming guilt. Wesley is normally a very bright upbeat person, that is until an accident happens and he is engulfed with guilt. Throughout the story, we see the effects guilt can have on someone like Wesley, but also how you can overcome it regardless of how strong of a grasp it might seem to have on you
Elle
Elle is Wesley's childhood stuffed elephant. Elle was given to Wesley by his mother at a very young age and has played a key part in Wesley's life, that is until he decided to through Elle in a box into the closet. However, Elle mysteriously comes to life one day and helps Wesley confront that guilt by helping him remember why life is worth living.
Mom
Wesley's mom is a hugely important figure in Wesley's life, both as a child and as an adult. She was the one who gave him Elle and would take Wesley to get ice cream every week at their favorite Ice Cream Parlor "May's". Throughout all the good and bad times she was there for him.
